§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (Mr. J. CHAMBERLAIN, Birmingham, W.)The President of the United States has appointed Mr. Elihu Raat, Secretary for War in the present administration, and Senators Lodge and Turner to be the American Members of the Commission. His Majesty's Government have, at the suggestion of the Dominion Government, decided to appoint as the British members the Lord Chief Justice of England, Sir Louis Aimable Jetté, retired Judge of the Superior Court of Province of Quebec, and Judge J. Douglas Armour, of the Supreme Court of Canada.
