JOYCE (Limerick)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether annual Returns are made from the Courts of Conscience in Ireland; and, if so, to whom are those Returns made; and will he state the number of cases tried in the Limerick Court in the year 1902, the gross amount sued for, and the amount recovered.
§ MR. WYNDHAMAnnual Returns are made by the registrars of these Courts for the purpose of record in the volume of Judicial Statistics, periodically laid before Parliament. The number of cases heard in the Limerick Court in 1902 was 641. The gross amount sued for is not shown in the Return, but the amount recoverable is stated to be £484 Is. 0d.
