HC Deb 09 March 1903 vol 119 c95
MR. CHARLES HOBHOUSE (Bristol, E.)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether the Soldiers Club at Malta has been revived; and whether suitable accommodation has been provided for it; and to what extent is the management in the hands of non-commissioned officers or privates?

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) The question of providing for the Soldiers' Club at Malta has been under consideration, but, in view of other more urgent and more important requirements, it has not been found possible to allocate any sum from Army Estimates for the coming year for this purpose.
