§ MR. BUCHANAN (Perthshire, W.)To ask the Lord Advocate how many burghs in Scotland, of which the licensing authority at present is vested in the magistrates, will lose that privilege under the new Licensing Bill.
(Answered by Mr. A. Graham Murray.) I am informed that the number of burghs at present having licensing jurisdiction, and which it is proposed to merge in the county as having a population under 7,000, is 48.
