§ MR. BRODRICKThe number of mobilisation and intelligence officers serving with the British Army on the headquarters staff is thirty-four. Beside these, there are a number of officers on the district staff whose staff work comprises intelligence duties. These, at home and abroad, amount to thirty-five. The number of mobilisation and intelligence officers serving with the Indian Army headquarters staff is eleven. The distribution of the above officers by continents is as follows:—Europe, fifty-five; Africa, seven; America, four; Asia, fifteen.
