HC Deb 29 June 1903 vol 124 c785
MR. FFRENCH (Wexford, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the holders of terminable leases in towns are subject to eviction or increase of rent without any compensation for buildings or improvements made at their expense; and whether he can hold out any hope of introducing a Bill to deal with this matter at an early date.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) I cannot hold out any hope of legislation in the direction suggested.
