To ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, whether it is the intention of the Government to retain the management of the Uganda Railway permanently in the hands of the Railway Committee of the Foreign Office.

(Answered by Lord Cranbome.) The Answer to the hon. Member's Question is in the negative, but I hope shortly to lay on the Table Papers which will explain the intentions of His Majesty's Government in the matter.
