§ MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)To ask the Postmaster-General the number of officials employed in Belfast and Portadown Post Offices respectively, and the number of Protestants and Roman Catholics there are in each.

The numbers of the staff employed at the two offices in question are as stated in the Estimates for the year ending 31st March, 1904, viz.: Belfast, 513; Portadown, 28. I have no information as to the religious belief of members of the Post Office staff, and I have repeatedly declined to make any inquiry on the subject.
