HC Deb 23 June 1903 vol 124 c255
MR. LOUIS SINCLAIR (Essex, Romford)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the increase in suburban rents, he can see his way to grant to the constables serving outside the boundaries of the metropolitan boroughs such allowances in aid of rent as are granted to constables serving within the metropolitan boroughs.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Akers-Douglas.) I have not seen any reason which would lead me to depart from the decision of my predecessor in this matter.
