HC Deb 22 June 1903 vol 124 c61
MR. WILLIAM REDMOND (Clare, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether Lord Tennyson's term of office in Australia is to be extended; and, if so, for what period.

MR. J. CHAMBERLAIN

No, Sir; there is no truth in the telegram which has appeared in the newspapers on this subject; and Lord Tennyson informs me that he must adhere to the arrangement already made, and will leave at the beginning of December.
