HC Deb 22 June 1903 vol 124 c51
MR. M'FADDEN (Donegal, E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay on the part of the Treasury in approving of the new plans for national schools in Ireland; and whether, seeing that numerous complaints have been lodged with the Commissioners of National Education in Ireland as to the inconvenience caused to managers purposing to erect schools, steps will be taken to expedite the approval of the plans by the Treasury, and the lodgment of them with the Commissioners.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) I would refer to my reply to the similar Question of 1st April † by the hon. Member for South Down, and to the reply given by the Financial Secretary to the Treasury on the 21st May ‡ to the Question of the hon. Member for South Monaghan.
