HERBERT SAMUELTo ask the President of the Board of Trade if he can state what proportion of the imports into the United Kingdom consists of goods which arrive ready for use by the consumer and have not to pass through any process of manufacture in this country, and the value of such goods, together with the corresponding figures ten years ago and twenty years ago.
