MARSHALL HALL (Lancashire, Southport)To ask the Secretary of State for War if he has decided to give free advertisements in the Army Regulations to the Co-operative Union; and, if so, whether he will reconsider his decision in view of the advantage that such advertisements will give them over private traders.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) I have explained in a letter to the Grocers' Union that there is no intention of giving in the Army Regulations a free advertisement to the Co-operative Union.
