HC Deb 17 June 1903 vol 123 c1158
SIR JOHN DORINGTON (Gloucestershire, Tewkesbury)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to a petition presented to His Majesty signed by a large body of Baronets, has he any further information to give respecting the progress made in the consideration of the prayers contained in the petition, beyond that which he gave in December last; and whether he can state the number of unqualified persons at present using the title and assuming the rank of Baronet.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Akers Douglas.) In answer to the first part of the Question I can only say that the matter is still under consideration. As regards the latter part, I have no information.
