§ MR. WHITMORE (Chelsea)To ask the hon. Member for West Derbyshire, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether he will have placed in the Tea Room plans and drawings showing how it is proposed to carry out the opening of the Mall into Charing Cross.
(Answered by Mr. Victor Cavendish.) The plan that it is hoped will be carried out is substantially the same as that shown in a plan attached to the Report of the Select Committee upon the Public Offices (Appropriation of Sites) of 1896 (House of Commons Paper, No. 310).
