§ * THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY, Buteshire)The Congested Districts Amendment Bill, now before Parliament, deals with certain recommendations contained in the Report referred to. The Secretary for Scotland awaits final communication from the Local Advisory Committee in the Lews before deciding upon any policy in regard to the remaining recommendations. It will not be possible to do all that the Secretary for Scotland thinks necessary, unless the amending 688 Bill, now before the House of Commons, should pass into law.
