§ THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. AUTSEN CHAMBERLAIN,) Worcestershire, E.No, Sir. The inquiry proposed is into the normal rates of wages of the classes concerned. When these are fixed it will be for the Postmaster-General to settle, with the concurrence of the Treasury, what special allowances are required to cover exceptional duties.
