§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will state the cause of the delay in the erection of a new post office at Hong-Kong.
§ MR. J. CHAMBERLAINDesigns for the new Post Office were called for on the 5th December last and competitors were given to 31st March last to send in their designs. It will obviously take some time to make a final selection; and I do not think that there has been any undue delay in proceeding with this work.
