HC Deb 15 July 1903 vol 125 c690
MR. NANNETTI

To ask the Postmaster - General if he received two petitions some time ago from the staff of the telegraph office in Dublin dealing with the management of the male dining-room; if so, can he state why the decisions bearing his signature were not shown either to the staff or committee of club.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) Two memorials, dated respectively the 4th of March and the 18th of April last, were duly considered, and the decision upon them was communicated to the staff through the usual channel. Only the second of these petitions, dated the 18th April last, was addressed to me, and my decision upon it was communicated to the petitioners in the usual way early in May.
