§ MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that the railway station at Kells, County Kerry, is inconveniently placed for the needs of the district; and whether he will make representations to the railway company with a view to having flag stations constructed at Dooneen and Mount Foley.
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURNo complaints appear to have been received by the Board of Trade with regard to the position of this station, but a copy of the hon. Member's Question has been communicated to the railway company concerned. The company have replied that the station at Kells is not, in their opinion, inconveniently placed for the needs of the district, and that there is no prospect of sufficient traffic to justify the creation of flag stations at the places mentioned.
