HC Deb 13 July 1903 vol 125 c393
MR. HERBERT ROBERTSON (Hackney, S.)

To ask the Secretary to the Board of Education whether any and what provision has been made in the event of the London Education Bill becoming an Act of Parliament in its present form for avoiding the necessity of a new London School Board being elected at the usual time next autumn and continuing the powers of the present School Board until the Act comes into operation; and, if not, whether any and what steps will be taken for this purpose.

(Answered by Sir William Anson.) After the passing of the Act, Schedule II. (10) of the principal Act will apply.
