HC Deb 10 July 1903 vol 125 c311
MR. M'GOVERN

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been directed to a complaint made to the Department of Agriculture in Ireland as to the manner in which a consignment of butter from Killeshandra to Forth was treated by the Midland Great Western Railway Company on the 4th July; and that this butter was put into a dirty cattle waggon at Crossdoney, which had not been cleansed after being used for the conveyance of cattle; and, if so, will he state what steps, if any, have been taken against this railway company.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The Department has received a complaint of the character mentioned, and is making inquiry into the matter.
