HC Deb 09 July 1903 vol 125 cc144-5
MR. MACVEAGH (Down, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland have on their clerical staff a number of Gentlemen with over eight years service, but whose rate of pay does not reach £100 a year, although persons of less official experience have within the past three years been employed for similar duties at salaries ranging between £100 and £350 per annum; and, if so, whether the disparity will receive the attention of the Department.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) In answer to this Question I would refer to my replies to the similar Questions by the hon. and learned Member for North Louth on the 28th May, 17th June, and 7th instant.†
