FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he has made further inquiry regarding the closing of mills in manufacturing districts, owing to the operations of the cotton trust; if so, whether he can state how many hands are partially disemployed and the wages value of such disemploy-ment; and whether he will make inquiry as to the precautions taken in other countries to prevent gambling in produce.
