HC Deb 07 July 1903 vol 124 c1529
MR. TULLY (Leitrim, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Local Government Board have approved of the form of the new ledger required by the secretaries of County Councils in view of recent legislation; and whether, owing to the public inconvenience that has been created by the fact that the copyright ledgers now in use are out of print and new copies are not available, the Local Government Board will themselves issue a form of ledger suitable for the altered requirements of the County Councils.

MR. WYNDHAM

The accounts which must be kept in the county-ledger have been prescribed by the Local Government Board, but it has not prescribed a particular form of ledger, nor is it considered desirable to do so.
