HC Deb 06 July 1903 vol 124 c1389
DR. THOMPSON (Monaghan, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if he has been able to equalise the allowances of the captains of the Royal Army Medical Corps with those possessed by lieutenants of the same Corps who are attending the Military Medical College in London.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. BRODRICK,) Surrey, Guildford

The question of the grant of mess allowance to captains attending the Medical College has been thoroughly considered and it has not been found possible to make this concession.
