HC Deb 06 July 1903 vol 124 c1411
MR. JAMES O'KELLY (Roscommon, N.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that the post office at Keadue, County Roscommon, is carried on in licensed premises, and that the holder of the licence was fined for selling intoxicating drink on Sunday, 19th May, 1903; and, if so, will he consider whether more suitable location can be found for the post office.

MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

It is frequently impossible in Ireland to find suitable candidates for appointment as sub-postmaster who are unconnected with public houses, but I will have inquiry made as regards Keadue.
