HC Deb 06 July 1903 vol 124 c1406
MR. TULLY

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to an application to the Local Government Board from the Boyle Town Commissioners for a supplemental loan of £800 for the erection of cottages under the Housing of the Working Classes Acts; and if he can explain the delay in giving sanction for the issuing of this supplemental loan.

MR. WYNDHAM

The application must be considered jointly with an application for a loan of £6,050 for a water supply. The margin of borrowing power may not be sufficient to admit of both loans.
