HC Deb 02 July 1903 vol 124 c1186
SIR GEORGE BARTLEY (Islington, N.)

I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of the House of Lords on the Great Indian Peninsular Annuities; and whether it is his intention to abide by the decision, or whether he proposes to attempt to alter it by legislation,

*THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Mr. RITCHIE,) Croydon

I do not contemplate proposing any alteration of the law as now interpreted.
