MORGAN (Essex, Walthamstow)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether his attention has been called to the fact that articles of food imported into London, and landed at the wharves on the river side, are not subject to inspection by the officers of the Port Sanitary Authority of the Port of London; and whether he will consider the advisability of issuing an order giving to the Port Sanitary Authority jurisdiction over all wharves abutting upon the Port of London, whether on the River Thames or within the area of any dock.
