HC Deb 19 February 1903 vol 118 c275
MR. WHITMORE (Chelsea)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether His Majesty's Government have decided to remove the Duke of York's Royal Millitary School from Chelsea; and, if so, what are the grounds on which this decision has been arrived at, where the School will be re-established, and to what uses it is proposed that its site in Chelsea shall in future be devoted.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) The question of the removal of the school from Chelsea is under the consideration of the Departments concerned. It may, however, be stated that the existing buildings are inadequate, and the site is unsuitable for any increased accommodation.
