HC Deb 18 February 1903 vol 118 c136
MR. CLAUDE HAY (Shoreditch Hoxton)

To ask the Postmaster General whether he will explain why a number of postmen employed in the E. C. District Office have been only recently supplied with their uniforms after a delay of from one to six months, during which time they served the Department wearing their private clothes; and whether it is his intention to compensate these men for the loss of an emolument recognised by the Department.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) I am making inquiry into the matter to which the hon. Member refers, and will let him know the result.
