MR. FORDERIDLEY (Bethnal Green. S. W.)To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he can now inform the House whether the Royal Commission on Pauper Alien Immigration is likely to report in time to allow of legislation being introduced this session.
138 (Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) I am unable to say when the Royal Commission is likely to make its Report. The Board of Trade have no control over the proceedings of the Commission.
