HC Deb 30 April 1903 vol 121 c948
MR. BILL (Staffordshire, Leek)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether any allocation has yet been made of guns and rifles captured during the war in South Africa; and whether the representations that have been made by the Government of New Zealand for a full share in the distribution of trophies have been considered.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. BRODRICK, Surrey, Guildford)

No allocation has as yet been made. The whole question is being carefully considered by a Committee, but the correspondence before the Committee is very large. Full regard is being given to the representations on the subject made by the Government of New Zealand.
