HC Deb 28 April 1903 vol 121 c659
MR. LOUGH (Islington, W.)

I beg to ask the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education a Question of which I have given him private notice, viz., what will be the additional charge on the Exchequer of the London Education Bill and what additional burden will be thrown by it on the London ratepayers?

THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION (Sir William ANSON, Oxford University)

I am not now prepared to give an answer. I am sorry to say I misunderstood the note of the hon. Member, but I will furnish him with the information he desires at the earliest possible opportunity.

MR. LOUGH

I wanted it before the debate.
