CHAMBERLAIN, Birmingham, W.)Arrangements are being made for a survey of the country between Wushishi (which is close to Zungeru) and Zaria, with a view to acquiring information which will assist in formulating a policy of railway construction in Northern Nigeria, but no decision has been arrived at as to the actual direction of a railway between those points, and until this has been settled no estimate of the cost of constructing such a railway can be made.
