§ MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)To ask the Secretary to the Board of Education whether he proposes to introduce legislative proposals dealing with the education of the deaf and dumb, to which his attention was called last session by the deputation introduced by Earl Egerton of Tatton.

The Board of Education are considering the advisability of introducing legislative proposals dealing with the education of the blind on the lines which were put before me last session by the deputation introduced by Earl Egerton of Tatton. I am not at present in a position to make any definite statement on the matter.
