HC Deb 01 April 1903 vol 120 c784
MR. J. P. FARRELL

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether a memorial has been received from the district councillors and magistrates of Mohill Union for the release of John Mulligan, at present a prisoner in Sligo Gaol; and, if so, will he state what stops he proposes to take in the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The memorial does not appear to have been yet received. When received it will be submitted to the Lord Lieutenant, with whom rests the exercise of the prerogative of mercy.
