§ * THE SECRETARY OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION (Sir WILLIAM ANSON,) Cambridge UniversityUnder the Education Bill, women will be eligible for the Boards of Managers of public elementary schools. They will also be eligible for places on the Education Committee of the Local Education Authority. This is plain from the terms of the Bill. It has always been the declared intention of the Government. I may refer the hon. Member to an answer given by the First Lord of the Treasury to a Question in this House on the 10th of April of this year.†
