§ MR. HENNIKER HEATONI beg to ask the Postmaster General whether there is telephonic communication between London and Brussels, and London and Berlin; and, if not, whether any steps are being taken to establish direct communication between the cities named.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINA new cable has been laid to Belgium, and telephonic communication between London and Brussels will be opened as soon as the necessary arrangements can be completed. The establishment of communication between London and Berlin is not at present feasible.
