To ask the Secretary of State for War, with reference to the Court of Inquiry into the Remount Department, if he will state what allowance has been made to General Truman for counsel, and what has been that for the assessor appointed by the War Office to assist the Court.

(Answered, by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) The sum of £660 has been paid to General Truman for counsel, and a further claim is under consideration. The sum of £2,163 has been paid to the assessor.
