CLAUDE HAY (Shoreditch, Hoxton)I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether, in view of the fact that Saturday, 25th October, has been declared a Bank Holiday in London, he will state if he has decided to give the London telegraphists the same concessions on the day in question as were granted to them on Coronation Day.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINYes, Sir, the concessions granted will be the same as on Coronation Day. Telegraphists who are required to attend for duty on Saturday next within the County of London will receive either a day's pay or a day's leave at some future time.
