§ MR. A. K. LOYD (Berkshire, Abingdon)To ask the President of the Local Government Board, whether he will consider the possibility of establishing a central fund for the receipt of all superannuation deductions, and the payment of all superannuation allowances under the Poor Law Officers' Superannuation Act, so as to prevent the whole superannuation allowance falling upon the union last employing the officer.
(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) There would be many difficulties in adopting such a scheme as that suggested, and I cannot at present give any promise to propose legislation to give effect to it; but I will not fail to give careful consideration to the whole subject.
