§ MR. CAINE (Cornwall, Camborne)To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in view of the fact that a short time ago a petition was presented to His Majesty the King, signed by several thousand Fijians, asking that their islands may be federated with New Zealand, if he will say what reply has been given to the petition; and will he lay the petition and reply on the Table of the House.
