§ SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)I wish to ask the Prime Minister if the Motion he intends to move presently will allow the discussion after twelve o'clock at night of what are called "Forty days on the Table" Motions. It is just possible there may be a Home Office Rule laid on the Table of these autumn sittings to which we may wish to call attention: hence my Question.
§ THE PRIME MINISTER AND FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR, Manchester, E.)Yes, I think the right hon. Baronet is right. I do not think it would be proper for the House to exclude from itself the possibility of discussing such a matter as this.
