HC Deb 28 November 1902 vol 115 cc743-4
MR. ERNEST FLOWER (Brandford, W.)

To ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he can state the extent to which Metropolitan and other boards of guardians use the technical classes of the London County Council and other County Councils for the training of poor law children in their charge.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) As regards London, I am informed by the London County Council that only one Metropolitan board of guardians have directly used the technical staff of the County Council for the training of poor law children. I have no definite information as to what has been done by other boards of guardians.
