HC Deb 20 November 1902 vol 115 c12
SIR EDWARD GREY (Northumberland, Berwick)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether it s proposed to retain the headquarters of the Northumberland Artillery Militia at Berwick-on-Tweed; and, if so, what steps are being taken to obtain the necessary camping ground for the recruits of that regiment.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.). There is no present intention of moving the headquarters of this corps. The question of hiring the camping ground for recruits rests with the General Officer commanding the district, who will take the necessary measures when the land is required.
