HC Deb 20 November 1902 vol 115 cc18-9
SIR JOHN LENG (Dundee)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Agriculture whether he will now inform the House what proposal he has made to extend the time limit for the slaughtering of Canadian cattle at landing ports in this country; and whether it will enable farmers to resume the feeding of young stores.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. HANBURY,) Preston

I have made no such proposal—and no similar proposal which has been made to me had for its object the feeding of young stores. The two subjects are quite distinct.
