HC Deb 19 November 1902 vol 114 cc1353-4
MR. YERBURGH (Chester)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, seeing that, owing to the conditions under which the King's South African medal is granted, some of the Auxiliary forces are debarred from receiving it, the conditions may be so amended that all those who served in South Africa during any portion of His Majesty's reign may receive the medal. † See page 746.

LORD STANLEY

Will the hon. Member kindly refer to my right hon. friend's reply to a Question put by my friend the hon. Member for York, on Monday last, † wherein it was stated clearly that there was no intention of altering the regulations.
