§ MR. DUNCAN (Yorkshire, W. R., Otley)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Board of Education if the local education authorities will have power to treat as provided schools schools that, originally founded as undenommational schools, have become denominational by the connivance of the trustees.
§ THE SECRETARY OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION (Sir WILLIAM ANSON, Oxford University)The denominational or undenominational character of a school does not affect the question of provision. Unless a school is provided by the local education authority it cannot be treated by the authority as a provided school.
